Season 6 has come to a close and it was very successful for the Wild Rover Sports group of teams. Wolbecash Wolves have finished third and just missed promotion but have received maximum prizemoney for a team staying in its current division. Tyne Rangers have won their Div 8 league and will be promoted. The team went through undefeated. Chepham Albion, The Panthers have finished 2nd in Division 6 and will now move up to division 5. Its tough up there and we look forward to seeing how they progress. Other notables include, Wobury Park 3rd, Lydea County 4th and Stage Rangers 5th. Recent teams joining the group, Burbrinch and Ram Rovers are yet to find their feet and may not be staying with the group.

As noted in image below, a few changes for season 6 with two registration windows of three days each. The Footium team is still looking for the optimum transfer window . Our teams are ready for another competitive season.

Season 5 comes to a close and the Wild Rover Sports group have had mixed results. A winning season for one of our smaller clubs Chield Stanley. A 2nd place has been achieved by Chepham Albion "The Panthers" against some very tough opposition. In the higher division, The Wolbecash Wolves managed to finish in the prizemoney and avoid relegation this season. A 6th position on the table shows the build of the club is gaining momentum. Stage Rangers 4th and Borlesbor Albion 5th round out the prizemoney teams. All other teams will end up being relegated due to player injuries and tactical management practices being adopted.

We welcome a new club and a new rare player to the Wild Rover Sports group. A bid was placed and accepted for a Div 4 club "Birbrinch Football Club". 0.2 Eth for the club rights and access to a great academy of players. This includes none other than Dragomir Golubic', a rare goalkeeper with so much potential. Dragomir has been earmarked to join the Wolbecash Wolves to assist them with their journey to the top of the league tables. Birbrinch due to a mass exodus of players from their previous management team will need to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Season 4 completed and a big improvement over season 3 for the Wild Rovers Sports group. Stage Rangers after getting relegated last season fought back to win Division 8 League 121. A couple of second placings and promotion to Lydea County and Tyne Rangers. A 3rd place for Chepham Albion "Panthers", a 4th place for Borlesbor Albion and Chield, a 5th for Standhile and a 6th for Ellset Albion. Wobury park had a dismal season finishing 10th. the manager commented that they had no luck at all all season and could not win a trick since being promoted last season. It was a tough battle all season for Wolbecash Wolves again finishing just out of the prize money in 8th position but narrowly avoiding relegation. 

There have been a few learnings about the game engine this season and positional plays so lets bring on Season 5.

Discussions are under way with a new supplier of kits and other merchandise for the Wild Rover Sports group. A sample of the embroidery used for the "Wolbecash Wolves" team has been reviewed by management with some positive vibes being felt by all.

Looks like there is a longer registration window this season. A whole week to prepare the teams. Also, this season as a one off there is no mid season transfer. Planning of rotations in the squad will be a challenge. But thats why we are here.

Well that's season 3 completed with plenty of ups and downs. There have been a few relegations and only three teams making it to the top five for a pay day. Ellset Albion being the only team to win the league. It was a tough battle all season for Wolbecash Wolves since being promoted to division 5. A 6th placing in the league was their final finishing spot just out of the prizemoney. It went down to the last day. Borlesbor Albion and Wobury Park the other two teams to finish in the top 5 and win prizemoney. 

After a dismal start to the season, a few teams opted to send their players to the training camp. We are hopeing to come back bigger and stronger as a consortium. Bring on Season 4.

What a great season 2 for the Wild Rover Sports group. We had two teams winning their leagues, two second places, a third place and a fifth place to round up the prizemoney earnings. The remaining four teams finishing 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th. Ellset Albion being the only team to get relegated.

Huge news.  Mario Acosta has accepted a transfer deal that has set  a new  record. Mario has decided to go to a higher division. The deal worth 1.1 Eth  (approx US$3600) has brought some much needed funds to the Wild Rover Sports group.  Management have commented that the academy  and training facilities will now get state of the art upgrades.

It' on, season 2 is upon us. We kick the season 2 off with Tyne  Rangers at 6pm Sydney time.  All players have been selected for their teams and training schedules set.  Good luck to all teams.

A new mint has occurred. Good news people,

"Lydea County" has joined the "Wild Rover Sports" group. 

Colours of Blue and Red with Black trim, they will be a sight to see on the pitch. Watch out for them climbing the ladder this season.

Due to a few innactive clubs being present in the leagues, the Footium team have decided to create a league where non playing teams will reside. This will be the Amateur league.
A new mint will occur on the 8th November to allow more players to enter the game and take place of the non playing teams.

That's it, what a cracking season 1 of Footium. The game we  have all been waiting for went off with a bang and only a couple of minor issues to resolve. This was mainly in the training area so it did not affect the game play.
For the Wild Rover Sports group, not a bad start. Wolbecash Wolves making up for their close second in Div 6 during the beta testing have won their innaugural season. A promotion to Division 5 awaits. 

Also, a second placing to Standhile FC has earned them  promotion to division 6.

Other notable achievements for the Wild Rover Sports group include third placings to Wobury Park, Tyne Rangers and Stage Rangers.
In the prizemoney, Chepham Albion 4th, Borlesbor Albion 4th and Chield Stanley with a 5th place. Ellset Albion the Only team to not recieve a prizemoney placing. Relegation was avoided with a 7th.

Season 1 of Footium kicks off. We are finally here. It has been a few years in the making and all teams eagerly await kickoff.

Tyne Rangers will kick things off for the Wild Rovers Sports group with a 6pm kick off. Standhile and Ellset kick off at midnight, Borlesbor and Wolbecash kick of at 1am. Chepham Albion are at 4am, Wobury Park 6am and the last two matches are Stage rangers and Chield Stanley kicking off at 8am. Times are all AEST.

The Wild Rovers Sports group of Footium teams have received their academy players. Borlesbor Albion were lucky enough to score a rare player (Jim Williams) and a centre forward no less. Borlesbor are already strong up front so he may end up being transferred to another club in the Wild Rover Sports family.

Season 1 has been announced. Set to launch on October 8th with the season kickoff on the 15th of October. let the fun begin. This is it folks, the real money game now starts. Our teams will receive their new academy players on October 8. 

Also, exciting news that all clubs will be given a free academy player in the newly released position of either LF or RF (Left Forward and Right Forward). 

Mario Acosta arrives at Wild Rover Sports. Mario was gifted as a prize for 2nd place by Wobury Park in season 0-5. All managers in the Wild Rover Sports group are currently haggling for his signature to join their team due to his base arrival rating of 74 with a max of 89. The current front runner is Wolbecash Wolves in the negotiations. Welcome Mario to the fold and enjoy your new home at Wild Rover Sports.

Robert Vinicius Rodrigues Silva, commonly known as Robert, has made a significant move in his football career. He signed his first professional contract with the Wolbecash Wolves club. As a Centre Back, he made his professional debut in 2024, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 3–2 away win over Burnarkenhorow. Now, Robert has taken another step by joining Rickenry Park in 2024. His transfer to Rickenry Park presents an exciting opportunity for him to further develop his skills and contribute to his new team’s success.

The "Rares" have arrived. After winning a few competitions throughout the pre seasons and during the building of the game, the Wild Rover Sports group have won three rare players. It is yet to be decided on which team they will join for maximum effect. Welcome Seokju Nam, Robert Silva and Jonathan Medina.

Season 0.5 has been announced. Due to start on the 17th July with actual kickoff date of 23rd July 2024. Get those teams ready

Season 0.5 has been mentioned as a preliminary season before the real kick off. We await further news from the Footium team.

Season 0 kicks off. The Wild Rover Sports group get the Footium season under way. The group will be led by Div 6 team Wolbecash Wolves.

Wolbecash Athletic       Winners  Playtest Brazil

Wolbecash Athletic Wolves win the Division 5 League 7 in playtest Brazil. Two teams, Widdle Albion and Wolbecash Athletic fought out the top two positions for most of the season with Wolbecash sneaking home in the last match. An upset over at Widdle Albion against the crafy Croury Rangers settling the final standings. Team captain Yuto Kitamura was very thankful of the academy stars that came through this season. They have added a youthful spring in everybodys steps this season and look forward to their growth over the next few years.

Wobury Park FC     Winners Playtest Brazil

Wobury Park FC wins the Division 4 League 8 in playtest Brazil. It was a very close run league but the team run out eventual winners with some very tired lads at the end. Team captain Pedro Cabrera put it all down to the training regime they were put through.

"First games will kickoff from 10am - 9pm UK time tomorrow (Friday 1st March) , and your club will have 2 games per day, 12 hours apart". Wolbecash Athletic and Wobury Park FC have been admitted to this playtest. Good luck teams.

AFCOM and their astute purchasing team have come to an agreement on the sale of Borlesbor Albion. The previous management team were keen to sell due to other commitments in the NFT space. We welcome Borlesbor Albion to the group and hope to assist them with the growth of the club. 

AFCOM have won a badge upgrade. The owners and managers are currently in discussions to see which team should get the badge upgrade.

AFCOM finalise a deal and welcome "Wolbecash Athletic" to the fold. Wolbecash, known as the "Wolves" will remain in their traditional green and white strip. The new management team is excited to see how far the team can push themselves in division 6.
